A Fintastic Thank You Card – Using Scraps as a Border

If you follow my blog, then you know that I recently had a Birthday. I received some gifts from my relatives that live in another state, so it’s a great time to be able to make a thank you card! I also used scraps from a new Lawn Fawn Paper to make a border. It just required a little extra cutting and the use of sequins to cover up spots where glue seeped under.

This one is for my Grandma and I used 3 different Lawn Fawn stamp sets to create this card. I’ll post the picture and then a list of supplies with links below.

Lawn Fawn Halloween Cards

I had some fun last weekend making some Halloween cards using some NEW Lawn Fawn Stamps. I really enjoy making scene cards. I made almost the same scene on all of these cards, but I used different techniques each time. I used alcohol markers with the distress spritzer, water color, distress ink blending, masking , etc. I plan on making more of these scene cards and trying out different techniques to see how many cool looking sunsets I can get! I used the little hill from Lawn Fawn’s “Life is Good” stamp set. The cat and sentiment are from Lawn Fawn’s “Spooktacular” and the tree and leaves are from Lawn Fawn’s “Sweater Weather” . Both of the sets are available in our store by clicking the link. They are only $14.49 and you get FREE shipping if you spend over $40.00. That’s pretty easy to do considering we currently have 25 different items from Lawn Fawn available!

Everything is S’MORE fun with you!

Everything is S'MORE fun with you!

I wish I had noticed that this picture was blurry, but I was in a rush! I always seem to wait until the last minute to make cards. OOPS! For this card, I decided to use a few of the products that we sell in the store. The paper is the new “Adventure” collection from Authentique (which still needs to be posted for sale). I just love that tent! The sentiment and the cute little s’more is from Lawn Fawn’s “Love you S’more” set (Click the photo to purchase in my E-Bay store for the discounted rate of $13.50!). It has so many adorable stamps. I was using a demo set, so I just used the ones that came in that set. This was a quick and easy card to put together and it still let my Dad feel special for Father’s Day. I thought it pertained well to him since he used to take us camping a lot when we were little.
